Still in the midst of the noise – Andrea and Brian
A few months ago my business partner and I took a trip to New York to celebrate the launch of of our new photography studio in Northwest Portland. It was a whirlwind of a trip, complete with a double decker tour bus (don’t judge until you try) and connecting for two late night adventures with friends who just happened to be in the city. Squee, love it when that happens.
In the midst of playing the tourist, I decided to sneak in a little real work and connected with one of my NY favorite couples. We were able to create some New York-style elopement pictures. Thanks for meeting up for a shoot, Andrea and Brian, you two are quite remarkable and the Italian food and wine was such a treat! I feel so lucky to have worked with you, in both New York and Portland. Let’s make a shoot in France the next stop.
The images in this blog are a mix of color digital and black and white film. 35mm film is having a bit of personal revival in my life. I wanted to include here some of the city scape I caught on film to add to the texture and environment of the session. Enjoy.
This view of the Flat Iron building was shot while cruising on the top of my double decker bus. So there! Love the art deco style architecture.
